We are proud to announce our second release from George Issakidis’ The Republic of Desire label, this time highlighting the talents of Lisbon natives The Photonz.
Photonz are Marco Rodrigues and Miguel Evaristo from Lisbon, Portugal that is the home to Fado (meaning destiny or fate in latin), a melancholy and penetrant style of music that needs little interpretation. Taking inspiration from a history of intensely emotional music, The Photonz offer immersive house with an air of sophistication.
At age 23 they have already released a string of singles on D-I-R-T-Y, Dissident and Living Records to great critical acclaim. We are very proud to release their next single. Having gained great support from Guillaume Sorge and Erol Alkin, this single is set to thrill dancefloors worldwide!
Glass Onion is a 21st century jacking track with their underlying sophistication that instantly penetrates the subconscious.
Electric Wonder Girl picks up the pace with a tight pulsing bassline and a melodic synth line that dances over hot embers of distorded percussion, leading to an intoxicating close with soaring pads.
